Just curious as to why you dont have a drop clutch on your hihats? I know your style doesn't call for it too much but you could still use it!

I don't ever find myself in a situation where I need a closed-hat groove with double bass stuff. Just don't have the need I guess.
BTW if anyone has (or knows someone who has) a 22" Cherry Wood Recording Custom BD and wants to sell, I'm your man!

Ya i thought that, i suppose my way would just be to stick one on my kit for a month or two and see what happens!
Cant help you with the cherry BD sorry, but whats so good about it, eh?
